Artist. Storyteller. Podcast host. Perpetual learner.

Who is Nadley?

A multi-passionate creator with a background in science, storytelling, and visual art, Nadley Tappan is the voice behind Nad Knows, a podcast that explores human creativity, cultural mythologies, and curious connections that permeate our world history. Whether painting, researching, or recording, her work invites others to awaken their inner sense of wonder and create their own meaning.

Artist at Heart

Visual art has always been part of Nadley’s world — and after years of channeling creativity into other brands through her career in marketing, she’s now reclaiming her time and voice. Her artwork reflects a complex inner cosmology shaped by travel, ancestral memory, and natural forms. You’ll often find bold color, texture, and story layered into her pieces.

A Winding Career Path

Nadley holds a biology degree and once worked as a research assistant in stem cell research to cure macular degeneration — but the lab couldn’t contain her spark. After leaving the field, she pivoted through hospitality, solo backpacking across Europe, and launching a freelance marketing career inspired by her travels to Bali.

She became a marketing coordinator for a botanical supplement brand, then rose to Creative Director at an agency — building campaigns, mentoring creatives, and helping small brands flourish. But eventually, the need to create for herself led her back to her own work.
